Dear Friends and Partners,

Thank you so much for your prayers and support!! Your gifts not only enable us to do the work of Touched by Grace here at home but also to do the Kingdom task of taking the riches of God’s grace to the poor of the earth.

We want to share with you the special opportunity
your prayers and gifts
have enabled us to do this month. A ministry team from “Declare His Glory International” will be making their annual trip to Latin America Friday, October 7th. It has been our joy to partner with them for several years by providing curriculum and training materials to give to the pastors and leaders they will address. They have requested three of my books that are translated into Spanish and because of your generosity we were able to provide them with these materials!

Our friend of nine years, Ruth Finley, will be leading the U.S. ministry team. She writes, “Just imagine that you are a church or community leader called to care for God’s people. You live in a remote area of poverty. You cannot travel to a distant city for a conference or a training seminar. Your resources for study are very limited. Few missionaries visit your area with encouragement, training and hope. Our desire is to minister to these leaders because we know if you touch and train a leader and his family, you have potenti! ally touched an entire region.” This is so true!

Pastor Bernardo Figueroa of Chile reports that the church in the Temuco area suffers from extreme poverty and is many years behind the rest of Chile. He says they are looking forward with great anticipation for the training seminar and the many other ministry meetings to be held in the area. The team will also minister at the Pastors’ Network of Quilpue, where the training resources we sent will be very valuable.

Please join us as intercessors for the team October 7-18th as they minister in Santiago, Temuco, and Quilpue. They are partnering with a Chilean team so please pray daily for all their protection, provision, peace and great fruitfulness.

The time is short, the need is great, and the task is urgent. We multiply our effectiveness when we team up and target specific goals. Thank you again for partnering with us in this labor!

Sincerely,

Ron and Lana Wood
